The Housing & Welfare Fund

THAW - The Housing and Welfare Fund - helps immigrant and refugee families remain in their housing when a family member’s income is lost. When a breadwinner is detained by ICE (Department of Homeland Security), the other family members need help with rent/mortgage payments, utilities, and possibly childcare.

 

THAW stands ready to assist. If you have lost income due to a loved one being detained, and you/someone you know lives in Franklin County, THAW encourages you to submit an application.

Ways To Give

Please become a THAW donor, and consider reaching out to other possible donors. Your donation will support your neighbors as they work to stabilize their lives in the community they love. By donating now, and hosting a THAW fundraiser in your home, you can make a difference. To host an event, email us at thawcolumbus@gmail.com.

We are looking for volunteers to host fundraising events to help raise money and expand the donor base of people standing with the immigrant community.
